Object: NGC3628 - Spiral galaxy located in the constellation Leo. Approximate visual brightness of 9.5 mag. Telelscope: LX200 10" @ f/6.3 Camera: Starlight Xpress MX916, w/ SXV upgrade Guiding: SXV guider through Stellarvue AT1010 @ f/6 Exposures: Lum = 10 X 240s (40 mins total) Filters: Schuler Luminance Comments: Taken from Home. It was late in the evening and my first try at this DSO. It was low in the sky and the light gradients were heavy from light pollution. I plan to try again soon |
